R-W-C Policy
Retraction, Withdrawal, & Correction Policy (RWC)
The Sinergi International Journal of Education has established a comprehensive RWC policy to maintain the integrity of the scientific record:
- Article Retraction: We may retract articles due to significant scientific errors, duplicate publication, or ethical violations. The retraction process involves thorough evaluation by editors and the Ethics Advisory Board, following COPE guidelines.
- Article Withdrawal:
Authors wishing to withdraw their manuscript after submission must immediately submit a written withdrawal request to the journal editor. The request must include the reasons for the withdrawal. The journal reserves the right to deny withdrawal requests if the manuscript is already in the review process or in the stages of publication.
This policy is intended to prevent unethical withdrawal practices after a manuscript has achieved an accept status or has been significantly processed by the editorial team and peer reviewers.
- Article Correction: We publish corrections for honest errors in data, author lists, or for necessary clarifications. Corrections are categorized as publisher's corrections (erratum), author's corrections (corrigendum), or addendums.
- Article Removal: In rare cases where legal or health concerns necessitate removal, we retain metadata but replace the text with a removal notice.
- Article Replacement: For articles posing serious health risks, we may allow replacement with a corrected version, linking the retraction notice to the revised article.
